The Mardi Himal Trek is an ideal choice for those who are looking for an ‘off beaten path’ trekking experience in the quieter parts of the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is the lowest and perhaps the least visited trekking paths in Annapurna region. Trekking through the verdant forests, interesting villages, valleys, terraced farms, dazzling rivers with the extraordinary views of majestic Machhapuchhre, hiuchuli, Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna I and II. Siddhing Village is one of the main attraction of this trek. People in this village are mostly engaged in tea farming, agriculture, handicrafts, service and animal husbandry.
The trail spans a variety of different terrains- beautifully carved terrace farming, amazing waterfalls and caves, mountain landscapes and lush vegetation including vibrant blossoming rhododendron forests.
Since the trek is recently opened, there are simple guesthouses and homestays which are truly rich in unique and best lifestyle and culture that Nepal has to offer.
